PFA (polyfluoroalkoxy) is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkoxy vinyl ether. It is melt-processable polytetrafluoroethylene with excellent mechanical strength, dielectric properties,
radiation resistance and has a melting point of approximately 304 degrees, a density of 2.13-2.16 g/cm³, molding shrinkage of 3.1-3.7%, and molding temperatures ranging from 310 to 390 degrees. PFA is similar to PTFE and FEP, especially exhibiting superior mechanical properties to FEP at high temperatures, and it can be used at temperatures up to 260 degrees. It is widely used in the semiconductor industry, as well as in medical, chemical corrosion-resistant, and automotive fields. PFA products come in granular form for molding and extrusion, powder form for rotational molding and coatings, and semi-finished forms such as films, sheets, rods, and tubes. With the development of high-purity PFA, its applications in high-purity semiconductor pipelines, pharmaceutical processing, and ultrapure water are continuously expanding. Advances in PFA rotational molding technology have broadened its application in the semiconductor industry, and in the chemical field, PFA is also commonly used as a lining material in reactors, distillation towers, storage tanks, pipelines, and pipe fittings.
Compression molding grade: MFR range from 0.8-3.0, suitable for compression molding and extruding process, it can be used to make various kinds of valves, pipelines, lining of shells and connecting fittings such as joints, and it can also be used to extrude various kinds of pipes and rods of larger diameters, with high dimensional stability.
Extrusion grade: MFR range from 3.0-8.0, suitable for extrusion process, can be extruded and molded all kinds of pipes and sheets with high dimensional stability.
Injection grade: MFR range from 8.0-18.0, suitable for injection molding process, and can be used to make all kinds of complex shaped parts, as well as joints, elbows and other pipe fittings.
Cable Grade: MFR range from 18-40, suitable for high-speed extrusion of cable insulation layer, and can be used to make all kinds of wire and cable insulation coverings.
Aqueous Dispersion: This grade is PFA concentrated dispersion, milky white or slightly yellow, with excellent temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, outstanding chemical inertia, excellent electrical insulation and low friction coefficient. This product is mainly used as an additive for PTFE dispersion to improve coating surface performance.
